Since 1991, Springwell Microelectronics has been providing quality urinal flush controllers and bespoke electronic designs to organisations nationwide. The first version of Smartflush was introduced in 1992 when Springwell saw a need to design an intelligent PIR Urinal Flush Control which was reliable, effective and straight forward to set up. Fast forward to now and we have an evolved, proven, PIR flush control which Springwell are incredibly proud of!

WHY FIT SMARTFLUSH?
An uncontrolled urinal flushing every 20 minutes flushes 504 times each week, using about 240 cubic metres annually for a small, nine litre cistern.
The same urinal fitted with Smartflush will still flush within a short time of urinal use but use much less water by starting a flush cycle only after use.
This results in reduced water consumption and reduced metered water bills.
Smartflush is covered by a 2 year warranty and this can be upgraded to 3 years free of charge by registering online.
HOW SMARTFLUSH WORKS
Smartflush waits until movement is detected, then delays before filling and flushing the cistern.
The cycle time, from triggering to the end of the flush, may be set to 20, 30, 40 or 60 minutes.
The fill time can be quickly, easily and accurately set with no measuring or manual timing required. Fill time can be set anywhere between 20 seconds and 31 minutes, to the second. Fast filling ensures that the cistern gives a proper urinal flush, avoiding the constant trickle out which sometimes happens with trickle-fed cisterns.
In standby, an optional Maintenance Flush occurs every 8, 12, or 24 hours, timed from last flush.
With the use of a PIR sensor, Springwell Smartflush monitors the room and operates only when required. A hidden manual flush button can be used to start an extra flush, either for rinsing after cleaning or to test the flush.
If required, the PIR sensitivity can be adjusted with the flick of a switch.
Unlike hydraulically-operated urinal valves, the Smartflush urinal valve is designed to flush within a short time of every use, typically no more than 30 minutes, so the urinal stays fresher for longer.
The PIR sensor can be fixed anywhere to give optimum detection - on the ceiling or the wall.
SUPERIOR 5-6 YEAR BATTERY LIFE
To ensure minimal maintenance and expense, the Springwell Smartflush battery pack has an operating life of 5-6 years.
The Smartflush controller features a 5 level battery state indication activated by holding the hidden button.
When the battery does get low the controller will look for movement and chirp when a person has been detected.
For peace of mind, an optional free battery reminder service is available and this can be set up using the extended warranty form.
